Location

The parcel of vines known as 'Le Clos' faces east and is situated along a continuous strip of land that runs between the Domaine Ferret property and the village church. It's a monopoly that covers 0.69 hectares of land abutting the property's house.

Vineyards' age

Half the vines are 20 years old, the other half are 40.

Soil

The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of deep silt and clay containing few stones. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls.

Vinification and maturing

A wine that is both powerful and elegant, that expresses itself with notes of almond, apricot and mineral purity. The exceptionally long finish is marked by a cleansing freshness. This is a wine whose power and poise will allow it to age for many years.
